ECO Italian Mezzolungo Rosso Pepper

This pepper is very popular in Italy (and on the Mediterranean coast in general - in southern Spain for example it is called Lamuyo) and is somewhat related to the red bell peppers that you can find in supermarkets in Romania and in most countries in Europe; mezzolungo peppers are just as fleshy, tastier perhaps (maybe from the extra sunshine...) and...more elongated, as the name suggests. Do not buy it to prepare stuffed peppers, because they are too big, but you can prepare a generous salad that will score points for its artistic impression.
