Hatozaki Japanese Blended Whisky, 0.7l, 40%
Hatozaki is a whisky produced at the Kaikyo distillery in Japan, named after the bridge that is located near the distillery, close to the city of Akashi in Hyōgo Prefecture. The name of this label, Hatozaki, is also part of the history of the place because it comes from the first stone lighthouse built in Japan. Hatozaki is obtained from a blend of single malt whiskies (from barley) and grain whisky (whisky produced from a mixture of cereals). In turn, these types of whisky are produced in Japan, but also in other parts of the world. The blend is aged in bourbon barrels, sherry barrels and Japanese oak barrels (mizunara).
