Romanian asparagus, grown in Buzau county by the Toma family. The Toma brothers are specialists in asparagus cultivation and they are also the ones who bring us a broccoli treat at the end of May and in June and then from October to the beginning of January. We thank them and greatly appreciate their work and skill.

Before preparation, the stems, which are more fibrous than the rest of the stalk, are removed.

Most often, asparagus is boiled a little and served with melted butter, hollandaise sauce or olive oil infused with garlic, aromatic herbs and lemon juice dressing. It can also be prepared on the grill for a few minutes, after which it is removed into a container with a lid, where we let it rest for a few minutes, together with spices and sprinkled with the appropriate dressing (it can be a little butter, white wine, a pinch of salt and a little pepper).
