ZENTIVA CLOTRIMAZOLE 100MG X 12 VAGINAL TABLETS

Composition. One ml of solution contains clotrimazole 10 mg. Excipient: propylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol Macrogol 300.

Therapeutic indications.

It is used for the treatment of fungal infections of the vagina, such as Candida infection or other species, or for the treatment of non-specific vaginitis.

Dosage and method of administration.

The recommended dose is one Clotrimazole Zentiva vaginal tablet per day, administered in the evening at bedtime, for 6-12 days.

Short courses of 2 Clotrimazole Zentiva vaginal tablets per day (morning and evening) can be administered for 3 days.

In severe cases, 2 Clotrimazole Zentiva vaginal tablets per day (morning and evening) can be administered for 6-12 days.

The vaginal tablets are inserted deep into the vagina. The vaginal tablet is inserted while lying on your back, with your legs apart and slightly bent.

Do not swallow.

Treatment is not carried out during menstruation.

Precautions.

Before using Clotrimazole Zentiva, talk to your doctor or pharmacist

¿ if you have had more than two vaginal infections in the last 6 months.

- if you or your partner have ever had sexually transmitted diseases.

- if you are under 16 or over 60 years old.

- if you have ever had an allergic reaction to Clotrimazole Zentiva or other antifungal medicines for vaginal use.

Special warnings.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Follow their instructions strictly. Clotrimazole should be administered with caution in pregnant women, especially in the first trimester of pregnancy, and only under the supervision of your doctor. Clotrimazole Zentiva administered vaginally does not pass into breast milk and can therefore be administered during breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines

Clotrimazole Zentiva has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive or use machines
