The year 1787 pays tribute to the past and to the year when the first sugar factory was founded in Trinidad & Tobago. A special, super premium rum, matured with love and mastery by the House of Angostura for at least 15 years. The content is mahogany-colored with bronze sparkles, and the smell is delicate, with notes of apples, bananas, dried fruits and hints of oak. The taste is balanced, with aromas of prunes, sweet influences of oak intertwined with shades of caramel. The finish is long and fresh, with hints of apple pie. It is recommended to be savored as it is or with ice.

About the producer
Angostura is one of the main rum producers in the Caribbean and has a superb collection of rums, being also the world market leader for bitters. Angostura rums have won many gold medals at international competitions and have been named "the most awarded rum range in the world". The Angostura story begins in 1824 when Dr. Siegert perfected his recipe for bitters in the city of Angostura, Venezuela. In 1875 the company moved to Trinidad, and from the 1940s it began to distill its own rum, developing a wide range of rums, white rums, dark rums and even Legacy - a very old rum.
