Agave plants are native to Mexico and are perennial plants. Inulin is extracted from this plant and tequila can also be obtained. Agave Inulin Powder is a healthy and natural sweetener that can replace sugar. Inulin is a polysaccharide, a soluble fiber with a probiotic role. Inulin is not digestible so it passes through the entire digestive system unchanged, being food for intestinal bacteria, especially bifidobacteria. The population of healthy bacteria in the digestive system inhibits the growth of pathogenic bacteria, stimulates the immune system, improves the natural synthesis of vitamin B, and improves the absorption of minerals. According to recent studies, consuming 10g of inulin per day improves plasma glucose levels, glycosylated hemoglobin, and increases SOD (antioxidant enzyme) activity.

It is very soluble in cold water and has a neutral taste, making it an excellent option for sweetening beverages. It can be used every day as a sweetener for tea, coffee and other drinks, as well as for cakes.
