About the supplier

Since its founding in the Netherlands, almost 400 years ago, 3 Horses has been a symbol of superior quality. Our roots can be traced back to 1628, when the 'Drie Hoefijzers' (3 Horseshoes) brewery was established in Breda. The name was inspired by the neighbouring blacksmith's tavern. Here, people enjoyed a drink while waiting for their horses to be re-shod.

In 1886, a new brewery with state-of-the-art facilities was built, and the brand became the first to produce non-alcoholic beverages on a large scale. This event marked the beginning of the worldwide export of our malts. The brand name was changed to 3 Horses, to address international markets: easier to pronounce and remember.

Since 2007, our malts have been produced in Germany, offering you the best of both worlds: an iconic Dutch brand, perfected with German production techniques, to guarantee superior quality in every drop. 3 Horses is available in 4 delicious flavours, so no matter your mood, we have the right taste for you.
