The old traditions from the Transylvania area related to the cultivation of vines and the production of wine are carefully preserved and carried on by Jidvei. The recent history of the brand begins more than 20 years ago with the privatization of the company. Over 20 years that have marked the transition to a modern stage of viticulture in the Tarnave vineyard.

Jidvei owns the largest vineyard plantation in Romania and in Europe with a single owner, which covers an area of 2,500 hectares right in the heart of Transylvania. The four wineries of the Group, located in Jidvei, Tauni, Blaj and Balcaciu, have an impressive storage capacity of over 35 million liters and some of the most modern technologies in Romania.
