Notes of crème brûlée, oolong tea, and nectarines.
Burundi Kanovera brings to the cup an elegant balance between sweetness and a well-integrated fruity acidity. It greets you with aromas of crème brûlée, oolong tea, and ripe nectarines – a clean and velvety profile, typical of high-altitude coffees from Burundi.
The coffee comes from the Bubanza region, Ntamba village, near the border with Rwanda. It is cultivated at 1650–1750 meters altitude by members of the Kanovera cooperative, part of the COCOCA union. These small producers work carefully with each harvest, processing the beans by washing – a treatment that preserves clarity and intensifies the vibrant notes in the cup.
We especially recommend it for espresso, where the taste gains depth and finesse.
