The company Οlympia – Xenia was founded in 1970 by G.P. Vassilopoulos. The idea for this business came from the fact that the Greek economy is based on agriculture, livestock and shipping.

The founder's vision was to present Greek products in different, more sophisticated packaging on the world market. At the same time, his personal desire was to create jobs in the local community of Ilia. The factory was established in Ilia in 1990 and remains one of the most modern in Greece, with a large production capacity.
