Faurar Red Dry Wine

Aromas with notes of green pepper, dried fruits and coffee. Full-bodied, balanced and well-structured taste, with a persistent finish.

The assortment impresses with its pleasant personality and the generosity of its aromatic palette. The Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Feteasca Neagra varieties are vinified separately using a classic fermentation technology on pomace in stainless steel tanks, at a temperature of 24-26°C as follows: 19 days for Merlot, 21 days for Cabernet Sauvignon, and 14 days for Feteasca Neagra. 70% of the wine is aged for 8 months in second-use Romanian oak barriques, while the remaining 30% is aged in stainless steel tanks. The wine perfectly captures the sumptuousness of Merlot and the roundness of Cabernet, which together with the Feteasca Neagra variety, create a fragrant and elegant assortment.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Intense notes of dried fruits, black berries and red fruits, complemented by accents of pepper and coffee.

Taste: Rich aromas of red and black berries, enriched with spicy notes.

Colour: Intense ruby red, with purple tones.

Serving recommendation

Pairs well with red meat dishes, pasta, or semi-aged cheeses.

Optimal serving temperature is 18˚C.
