The name of Real Balneario Solán de Cabras, built by Charles III in 1775, comes from a legend: a shepherd believed that these waters had healing properties for his goats; in fact, he observed how the sick spontaneously bathed in the water, in a sunny spot "Solána", and almost instinctively perceived its medicinal qualities. The Solán de Cabras spring is located in the mountainous area of the Cuenca province, in a kind of amphitheater surrounded by high peaks. The establishment's facilities are distributed on both banks of the Cuervo river and are connected by a beautiful park.
The waters of Real Balneario Solán de Cabras are oligometallic, bicarbonate, ferruginous, and calcic-lithic.
Solán de Cabras water is characterized by a soft aroma and a refined taste.
Conveying the quality of the water to consumers through its bottles has been a priority for Solán de Cabras, which stands out in many ways:
• With the help of the blue color to protect the water from light. This color makes the bottles easily recognizable.
• Embossed text on the bottles.
