Due to its light, almost imperceptible content, Acqua Panna is ideal for a delicate white wine with a moderate alcohol concentration. Or with fruity, sweet or old rosé wines, traditionally produced.

About the producer

Legend has it that Acqua Panna dates back to the Renaissance period and apart from names like the De Medici family and Villa Panna, it is rumored that Julius Caesar himself had a connection with this brand. He was convinced of the freshness of the water when he was with his troops on their way to Gaul. The Acqua Panna natural spring is located at 900 meters above sea level, at the foot of Mount Gazzaro, about 25 kilometers north of Florence, before reaching the surface, the water has a 15-year transition period in the aquifer. This leads to a purity and a formula of the water so balanced that it does not dominate the taste of the food, but on the contrary: it enhances it. As for the surrounding nature, we are talking about a Protected Natural Reserve that covers 1300 hectares. Even more: since 2001, Panna has held the Organic Farm Certificate, which means that the use of any chemical substance on this land is prohibited.
