Camino Real has a history of over 70 years in the production of tequila in Mexico, Jalisco region. The blue agave crops and the tradition of the region in the production of tequila are elements of brand and identity for the Mexican producer. The blue agave crops are located at 2000 meters above sea level, which is why the brand is called Camino (high), and the production follows the traditional technique, found only in the oldest competitors in the industry. For any Camino Real tequila, the best agave plants are selected, they are browned in brick ovens for three days and then squeezed to obtain the fermentation juice. After fermentation, double distillation takes place, followed by a minimum maturation of 30 days.
