MASTODYNON ORAL DROPS

Composition.

The active substances are: Vitex agnus castus, Caulophyllum thalictroides, Cyclamen purpurascens, Strychnos ignatii, Iris versicolor, Lilium tigrinum. The other component is ethyl alcohol.

Therapeutic indications.

Mastodynon is a homeopathic medicine.

Mastodynon is indicated as a treatment for women of childbearing age who have the following disorders:

- menstrual cycle disorders;

- premenstrual syndrome with disorders such as breast pain, psychological instability, swelling of the lower limbs, constipation, headache, migraine (very severe headache);

- painful benign breast disorders (mastopathy).

Dosage and method of administration.

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adult women of childbearing age

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the recommended dose is 30 drops twice a day. The duration of treatment should be determined by a doctor. The drops are administered in the morning and evening, diluted with a little water or another liquid.

If symptoms recur after discontinuation of Mastodynon treatment, consult your doctor before resuming treatment.

To achieve an optimal therapeutic effect, it is recommended to administer Mastodynon oral drops solution continuously for 3 months. If symptoms persist after 3 months of treatment, medical advice is necessary.

Precautions.

In case of persistent, unclear or recurring symptoms, consult your doctor. Such symptoms may be manifestations of a disease and may require medical consultation and treatment.

If you have or have had estrogen-sensitive cancer, talk to your doctor before using this medicine.

If you are taking dopamine receptor agonists or antagonists, estrogens or antiestrogens, talk to your doctor before using this medicine.

Vitex agnus castus in the composition of the medicine is assumed to act on the hypothalamic-pituitary axis, therefore if you have a history of pituitary gland disease, you should talk to your doctor before using Mastodynon.

Special warnings.

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine. There are no indications for the use of this medicine in pregnant women. Reproductive toxicity studies suggest that Vitex agnus castus in the composition of the medicine may affect lactation. Mastodynon should not be used during pregnancy and lactation.

Driving and using machines

No studies have been conducted on the effects on the ability to drive and use machines.

Packaging. Available in boxes with a 50 ml brown glass bottle of oral drops solution, with a dropper.
