Vallepicciola Chianti Classico DOCG Vin

The Vallepicciola estate has a fascinating story, which begins in 1999, when Bruno Bolfo decided to renovate an old abandoned nunnery, located near his holiday home in Pievasciata. Here, 10 kilometers from Siena, the 205-hectare estate takes shape, including the five-star Le Fontanelle hotel, the imposing winery designed by Margherita Gozzi, which measures 6000 m2, 80% of which is underground, as well as 105 hectares of vineyards that produce 15 labels exclusively from their own grapes, four thousand olive trees, a lake, forests, and fields. Spread across the hills of Chianti Classico, the estate owns vineyards of Sangiovese, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Chardonnay, each of them placed in the ideal area for its respective variety to fully express the diversity of Tuscan flavors.
