About the Manufacturer
The family used to own 2 different Lazzaroni companies; in 1927 the two companies merged into a new unique structure, which concentrated all energies on the production of biscuits, while also maintaining the production of Amaretto Lazzaroni 1851, which was always considered their "liquid biscuit".
Over the years, the cookie company grew phenomenally well, becoming one of the most famous in the world, well-known for its high quality standards.
In 1984, after the sale of the biscuit branch (D. Lazzaroni & C, which today has nothing to do with the Family or Saronno) to an American multinational, Paolo Lazzaroni - namesake of his great-grandfather, the creator of the liqueurs - kept the company "Paolo Lazzaroni & Figli", later expanded to many of the glorious Lazzaroni products from the former Amaroni flag. 1851.
In the early 90s, Paolo Lazzaroni built the actual factory in Saronno.
The company is run today by Paolo and Luca Lazzaroni, who are the seventh and eighth generation of a family of entrepreneurs who have always worked in the high-quality Italian food industry through various companies.
