About the producer
The history of the Caffo family dates back to the end of the 19th century, when Giuseppe Caffo, a "Master of the distillery" began to distill the must obtained from the grapes grown on the slopes of the Etna volcano. In 1915 he bought an old distillery in Sicily.
Caffo gradually began to produce and become a renowned name on the international market both for liqueurs obtained from old recipes and for specialities. A symbolic product of the distillery is Vecchio Amaro del Capo, a Calabrian herbal liqueur made according to a recipe that has been continuously improved over 4 generations.
