About the producer

150 years ago, Jack Daniel introduced the world to the Old No. 7 range, a Tennessee whiskey created, filtered and aged in Lynchburg, TN. Keeping with tradition, Jack Daniel’s ranges are created here to this day. American legislation does not allow the addition of colorants or flavorings to whiskey. That is why the taste of the ranges is due simply to the talent of the Master Distiller, the filtration through charcoal and the interaction between the drink and the walls of the American oak barrels during aging. The water used to obtain the whiskey is extracted from Cave Spring Hollow, a spring that emerges in a cave. The limestone layers here enrich the water with minerals and remove the iron from the composition, thus creating an ideal base for the whiskey ranges. Filtration through huge quantities of charcoal and aging in custom, handcrafted barrels distinguish Jack Daniel’s from bourbon ranges.
