About the manufacturer
In the 19th century, Wilhelm Mast was a vinegar producer in Germany, but his son, Curt Mast, decided to take the business further and create a different product. Thus, in the 1930s, in the city of Wolfenbüttel in Lower Saxony, Curt Mast created an herbal liqueur that was initially a celebratory drink for hunters. After years of research and refinement, Curt established the final recipe for a liqueur made from 56 natural ingredients.
After more than 80 years, Curt's world has changed, but his alchemy has remained the same.
