Composition

The active substances are: paracetamol 650 mg, pheniramine maleate 20 mg and phenylephrine hydrochloride 10 mg. Therapeutic indications

Theraflu Extra cold and flu contains a combination of three active substances that act on the major symptoms associated with colds and flu:

• Paracetamol is a pain reliever (analgesic) and reduces fever (reduces your body temperature when you have a fever);
• Phenylephrine hydrochloride is a nasal decongestant and a sinus decongestant. It helps to clear nasal congestion and reduce pressure in the sinuses.

Dosage and method of administration

Adults and adolescents (over 12 years)

One sachet every 4-6 hours as needed. The contents of a sachet are dissolved in approx. 200 ml of hot water.

Maximum 3-4 sachets per day.

Do not administer to children under 12 years of age.

Do not exceed the maximum recommended dose.

Use should not exceed 5 days.

Precautions

The recommended dose should not be exceeded and the medicine should not be taken for more than 5 consecutive days. High doses of paracetamol, including total dose values reached over a prolonged period of administration, can cause analgesic nephropathy and irreversible liver failure.

No other medicines containing paracetamol should be taken during the treatment period.
