- Erythrasma (mycosis of the skin folds);
- Tinea corporis;
- Tinea cruris, caused by Trichophyton rubrum, T. Mentagrophites, Epidermophyton floccosum (Aerothesium floccosum), Microsporum canis;

Dosage and method of administration
CLOTRIMAZOLE cutaneous solution is applied locally 2-3 times a day, after washing the affected area (preferably with a soap with alkaline pH). After application, gently massage the affected area until the solution is completely absorbed. The duration of treatment depends on the location of the condition and its age, it is 1-3 weeks for pityriasis versicolor, 2 weeks for interdigital mycoses, 3-4 weeks for other dermatomycoses.
in the case of mycoses of the auditory canal (provided that the eardrum is intact), a cotton swab is soaked in solution and placed in the canal, without being compressed too hard.
The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the infection and its location, and obtaining a lasting effect requires continuing treatment for about 14 days after the symptoms disappear. The average duration of treatment is 4-5 weeks.
Hygiene measures are very important for the healing of interdigital dermatomycoses. After washing the feet, the interdigital spaces must be dried. CLOTRIMAZOLE cutaneous solution is applied only to clean and dry skin. After application, the affected area is not covered with a dressing unless recommended by the doctor.
Precautions
If irritation or allergic reactions to clotrimazole occur during treatment, treatment should be discontinued.
Onychomycoses, due to their location, are generally not solvable with local antifungal therapy alone, requiring associated systemic treatment.
Special warnings
Pregnancy, lactation, fertility
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby,
ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Clotrimazole crosses the feto-placental barrier. There are no controlled clinical studies in pregnant women.
It is recommended to avoid using clotrimazole in the first trimester. in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, CLOTRIMAZOLE cutaneous solution will be used only if absolutely necessary, after careful evaluation by the doctor of the potential fetal risk/maternal therapeutic benefit ratio.
Since it is not known whether clotrimazole, after topical application, is excreted in breast milk, the administration of the drug is done with caution in women during lactation, only if the doctor considers that the therapeutic benefit outweighs the possible risk.
