Composition

One gram of cutaneous solution contains clotrimazole 10 mg and excipients: ethyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol.

Therapeutic indications

CLOTRIMAZOLE cutaneous solution is indicated in the treatment of the following conditions:

• Cutaneous mycoses caused by Candida albicans and other types of Candida;
• Erythrasma (mycosis of the skin folds);
• Tinea corporis;
• Tinea cruris, caused by Trichophyton rubrum, T. Mentagrophites, Epidermophyton floccosum (Aerothesium floccosum), Microsporum canis;
• Tinea pedum, Tinea mannum;
• Pityriasis versicolor caused by Malassezia furfur;

Dosage and method of administration

CLOTRIMAZOLE cutaneous solution is applied locally 2-3 times a day, after washing the affected area (preferably with a soap with alkaline pH). After application, gently massage the affected area until the solution is completely absorbed. The duration of treatment depends on the location of the condition and its age, it is 1-3 weeks for pityriasis versicolor, 2 weeks for interdigital mycoses, 3-4 weeks for other dermatomycoses.
