Paracetamol Zentiva comes in the form of uncoated, disc-shaped tablets, white or greyish-white, with contoured edges, having a median line engraved on one side.
The tablet can be divided into equal doses.

Method of administration:
Paracetamol Zentiva tablets are administered orally, with a sufficient amount of liquid (approximately 200 ml for adults), respecting a minimum interval of 4 hours between two administrations and the maximum daily dose.

Usual doses are:

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age:

  • The recommended dose is 500-1000 mg paracetamol (1-2 tablets) at 4-hour intervals, administered as needed.
  • Administration at intervals shorter than 4 hours is not recommended.
  • The maximum recommended dose for adults is 4 g paracetamol (8 tablets) per day.

Children aged 6-12 years:

  • The dose is 60 mg/kg per day, divided into equal doses, for example 15 mg/kg, administered every 6 hours, or 10 mg/kg, administered every 4 hours.
  • Administration at intervals shorter than 4 hours is not recommended.
  • No more than 4 doses should be administered per day.

Children under 6 years of age:

  • Paracetamol should be administered in a concentration and pharmaceutical form appropriate for the age.
  • Do not combine with other medicines containing paracetamol. Alcohol consumption should be avoided during treatment.
