Composition.
The active substances are: benzydamine hydrochloride and cetylpyridinium chloride. Each lozenge contains benzydamine hydrochloride 3 mg and cetylpyridinium chloride 1 mg. The other components are: eucalyptus oil, levomenthol, anhydrous citric acid, sucralose, isomalt (E 953), brilliant blue FCF (E 133).
Therapeutic indications.
Septolete omni 3 mg/1 mg lozenges are recommended for local anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antiseptic treatment in the oral cavity. Septolete omni disinfects the oral and pharyngeal mucosa and reduces signs of throat inflammation, such as pain, redness, swelling, increased temperature, and loss of local function.
Septolete omni 3 mg/1 mg lozenges are recommended for anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antiseptic treatment:
- of inflammations of the throat, oral cavity, and gums,
- in gingivitis, pharyngitis, and laryngitis.
If you do not feel better or feel worse after 3 days of treatment, you should consult a doctor.
Dosage and administration.
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Adults
The recommended dose is 3-4 lozenges per day. The lozenge should be slowly dissolved in the oral cavity, at intervals of 3-6 hours.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age
The recommended dose is 3-4 lozenges per day. The lozenge should be slowly dissolved in the oral cavity, at intervals of 3-6 hours.
Children aged 6 to 12 years
The recommended dose is 3 lozenges per day. The lozenge should be slowly dissolved in the oral cavity, at intervals of 3-6 hours.
Precautions.
Do not use Septolete omni 3 mg/1 mg lozenges for more than 7 days. If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days, or if other symptoms appear, for example, fever, consult a doctor.
The use of local medicines, especially for a prolonged period, can lead to sensitization, in which case treatment should be discontinued.
