Nurofen Plus is indicated for the relief of headaches, menstrual pain, dental pain, back pain, rheumatic pain, muscle pain, in migraine and neuralgia, reduction of fever and cold and flu symptoms.
Nurofen Plus is indicated in patients aged 12-18 years for the treatment of moderate acute pain that is not considered to be relieved by other analgesics, such as paracetamol or ibuprofen administered alone.
Ingredients:
- The active substances are: ibuprofen and codeine phosphate hemihydrate. Each film-coated tablet contains 200 mg ibuprofen and 12.8 mg codeine phosphate hemihydrate.
- The other components are: Core: Microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, pregelatinized starch.

Contraindications:

Nurofen Plus should not be taken during the last 3 months of pregnancy, as it can cause major heart, lung, and kidney disorders in the fetus. If used at the end of pregnancy, it can cause a tendency to bleed in both the mother and the child and reduces the strength of uterine contractions, delaying the onset of labor.
Treatment during the first 6 months of pregnancy will only be recommended by your doctor if absolutely necessary. Ibuprofen may make it more difficult to try to get pregnant. You should tell your doctor if you are planning to get pregnant or if you are having problems getting pregnant.
Do not take codeine during breastfeeding. Codeine and morphine pass into breast milk.
