ENTEROLACTIS Plus is a product of choice for the prevention and treatment of Clostridium difficile infections, as it has been shown to modulate the quantity of bacteria from various genera of Clostridiales.

Indications:

• After and during antibiotic therapy
• Acute infectious diarrhea and traveler's diarrhea
• Diarrhea and abdominal bloating from bacterial intestinal contamination
• Particular indications
• Prevention of diarrhea caused by the oral antidiabetic metformin
• Prophylaxis of acute diverticular disease recurrences (immediately after the acute phase)
• Improvement of diarrhea, bloating, and flatulence in Irritable Bowel Syndrome
• Management of remissions of chronic inflammatory bowel disease, even post-operatively
• Control and prophylaxis of recurrent lower urinary tract infections

Dosage and administration:

Children over 6 years old: 1 capsule per day, preferably on an empty stomach, with a small amount of water or other liquid.

Adults: 1 capsule, preferably on an empty stomach, 1-2 times a day, with a small amount of water or other liquid.

A complete treatment, to be effective, must last at least 2-3 weeks and can be resumed, if necessary, after a 2-month interval.

In case of concomitant administration with antibiotics, ENTEROLACTIS Plus must be administered at least 3 hours apart from the antibiotic.

For people prone to "traveler's diarrhea", ENTEROLACTIS Plus administration should be started at least one week before and continued throughout the entire duration of the trip.

Composition:

L. casei (Lactobacillus paracasei CNCM I-1572), a lactobacillus deposited at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, a result of SOFAR research.
