Description:
Advil Cold & Flu contains two active ingredients, ibuprofen and pseudoephedrine.
- Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines called ‘non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs’ (NSAIDs). They help to relieve pain and reduce high temperature (fever).

What Advil Cold & Flu is used for:
Advil Cold & Flu is used in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over for the symptomatic relief of the common cold and flu, including headache, high temperature (fever), sore throat, aches, pains and blocked nose.
Only use this medicine if you have a blocked nose and the symptoms listed above, such as headache and high temperature. Do not use this medicine if you only have one of the symptoms listed above.

Warnings and precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Advil Cold & Flu if:
- you have heart problems including heart failure, angina (chest pain), or if you have had a heart attack, bypass surgery, peripheral artery disease (poor circulation in your legs or feet due to narrowing or blockage of the arteries) or any type of stroke (including mini-stroke or transient ischaemic attack ‘TIA’).
- you have high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, a family history of heart disease or stroke, or if you are a smoker.
- you have asthma as there is a risk that you could have an asthma attack.
- you have liver or kidney problems.
- you have prostate problems.
- you have bleeding problems.
- you have ever had stomach or gut problems, for example stomach ulcers, bleeding in your stomach, ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease.
- you have systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), a condition affecting your immune system which can cause joint pain, skin changes and other problems.

Pseudoephedrine can cause a positive result in anti-doping tests. Do not take Advil Cold & Flu if this could affect you.
Decreased blood flow to the optic nerve may occur during treatment with Advil Cold & Flu. If you experience sudden loss of vision or blurred vision, such as black spots, stop taking Advil Cold & Flu and see your doctor immediately.
If you develop a widespread rash with blisters and fever, stop taking Advil Cold & Flu and see your doctor or seek medical advice immediately.

Ingredients:
The active substances are ibuprofen 200 mg and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30 mg.

How to take:
Adults and children aged 12 years and over:
- The recommended dose is 1 capsule every 4 to 6 hours.
- If your symptoms are severe, you can take 2 capsules at the same time.
- Do not take more than 6 capsules in 24 hours.
