Lemonaid & ChariTea was founded in Hamburg in 2008 by a group of friends with the aim of offering quality drinks, made from the best ingredients, respecting Fairtrade principles. Fairtrade means that, in underdeveloped or developing countries from where they source their raw materials, Lemonaid & ChariTea supports trade based on transparency and equality, fair prices and decent working conditions, provided to partners through investments. Thus, with each bottle purchased, 5 euro cents are directed by the Lemonaid & ChariTea foundation to a variety of projects designed to improve the social, economic and ecological conditions of the communities they work with in these growing regions. There are not many companies that support social projects from their own profit. Since 2010, the foundation has raised over £7,000,000 to support these social projects.
