About the producer
A 100% family winery that tries to continue the dream of grandfather Pedro Etcheberry, a French agronomist, who believed in the Chilean wine industry since 1955.
Decades later, the father, Pedro Félix de Aguirre and the mother, Ana Maria Etcheberry joined this idea and gave a fresh spirit to the desire of grandfather Pedro Etcheberry.
Today, the seven members of the current generation of the "de Aguirre Etcheberry" family focus with passion and dedication to produce high quality wines at a competitive price to sell them in more than 45 markets worldwide, with a volume of almost 22 million bottles per year.
The vineyards are located in Villa Alegre, a colonial town immersed in the heart of the Maule Valley, the valley that produces the largest amount of wine grapes in Chile. The climate offers a maximum balance, the sun and the soil of this wonderful place located 285 km south of Santiago, 98 meters above sea level, between the coast and the Andes mountain range. The privileged climate allows the grapes to obtain ripe tannin development, excellent aromas and an optimum concentration of color.
