Azuga Weisbier Unfiltered Wheat Beer

Azuga Weissbier is a wheat beer, unfiltered, typical of the German region of Bavaria. It contains wheat malt and specific yeast, with predominant notes of fruit and spices. It is normal to have deposits, they are part of the beer profile and give this beer the taste of good life.

About the producer

The Azuga story begins in 1870, with the construction of the factory on the royal estates of Azuga, under the guidance of Grundt Radulescu, a master brewer of German origin.

Since then, it has gone through a lot: a monarchy, two world wars, the communist period, followed by the hopeful years after the revolution. Azuga has made its way through the turmoil of the times and has grown alongside Romanians.

In 2017, Azuga Nepasteurizata was produced in Germany, at a craft brewery with over 150 years of history. In 2021, it was time for Azuga to return to the country, to be masterfully produced in a local brewery. In the heart of Cluj, in the Barlog factory, Azuga keeps the German recipe of Marzen beer and is an unpasteurized beer.
