A product born on the slopes of Etna, a few meters from the sea, in a fairytale area, brings us the flavor and fragrance of Sicily.

The variety is called “Femminello”. According to tradition, the name comes from the Italian word “femmina”, because it is a very productive variety, recognized for the fertility of the plant, with three annual blooms, from which the Primofiore, Bianchetto and Verdello lemons develop.

It stands out for its intense taste and fragrance, as well as for its high content of citric acid. Rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, lemon helps maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Campisi Citrus - An Italian company, with a tradition in citrus cultivation, for over 40 years (four generations). From the certified nursery to processing and packaging, the company owns every step of production.

Campisi Citrus is the only Sicilian citrus company that operates on a closed supply chain for both organic and conventional products.

Campisi citrus represents the final point of production with the transformation of fresh products into cold-pressed juices, essential oils, slices and rounds, pulp and peel.

The Ugatti company officially represents Campisi Citrus in Romania.

 

Traceability. The quality, safety and control system based on constant monitoring of the quality of the fruits, from the orchard to delivery, guarantees the quality of the product offered, throughout its journey, to the final consumer.

Tradition. Lemons and oranges are hand-picked, according to tradition. Moreover, the transport from the orchard to the nearby factory takes place in plastic crates to keep the organoleptic properties of the peel intact.

Transformation. The citrus fruits are hand-picked and immediately sent for packaging and distribution to guarantee the freshness of the final products. The combination of a gentle processing system and natural freezing preserves the fragrance and natural properties of our citrus fruits.

Storage conditions

The product is delivered frozen, store / keep at -18°C.

The product requires defrosting before consumption.

Defrost in the refrigerator or at room temperature. After defrosting, store for a maximum of 6 days in the refrigerator (0/+ 6°C) or for a maximum of 6 hours at room temperature.

Do not refreeze after defrosting.
