About the producer

A new wine with an old tradition!

Crama Bratu is not just a winery, a simple wine producer, but a project of the soul, in which the word "family" has a strong resonance. For the producer, the culture of the vine and wine means more than a business, it means a continuation of tradition and history itself, the teachings and secrets of the vine and wine being passed down from generation to generation.
Crama Bratu owns approximately 45 ha of vineyards, created through reconversion in 2015 with the help of European funds, from which grapes are obtained for wine with GI Dealurile Moldovei. The main grape varieties are Feteasca Regala, Riesling Italian, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat Ottonel, Feteasca Neagra, Merlot.
Registering an increasingly larger production of the vineyard, the need for a winery also appeared. Crama Bratu is built on European funds, the project being implemented in 2018-2019, thus reaching the point of boasting the most modern winery in Galati County. In order to have a diversified range of products, in addition to the grapes obtained from its own plantation, the winery also vinifies grapes purchased from other modern plantations in Galati County certified as DOC or GI.
