About the manufacturer
The history of Campari originates in Novara, in 1860, when Gaspare Campari's experiments led to the invention of a new drink with a unique bitter aroma, whose recipe has remained intact over time. Approximately 17 years later, Gaspare moved to Milan and opened a cafe in the city center, Caffe Campari. Thanks to the prestigious location and the intriguing and seductive taste of the new drink, Campari quickly became a renowned aperitif and an indispensable presence at social events in Milan.
In 1904, the first Campari factory was opened in Sesto San Giovanni, and the brand's journey abroad began. Thus, a success story was born that continues to inspire and define trends even today.
