VIDECA is the company with the most experience in manufacturing mandarin compote, and currently processes 25% of the mandarin production in Spain.
The mandarin variety used for our preserve is Satsuma, originally from Japan, and which is distinguished by its refined aroma. Currently, 90% of the entire production of Satsuma mandarins in the entire EU is produced in the Valencia area.
Mandarins are notable for their content of vitamin C and provitamin A (beta carotene), which perform an antioxidant function.
