About the manufacturer
Ben & Jerry’s is an American commercial company with a tradition of over 25 years. The business was started by two friends, Ben and Jerry, in an old gas station, which they then renovated. Two boys started producing creamy, good quality ice cream with various flavors, which quickly became popular.
Ben & Jerry’s, among other things, aims to protect local communities, so it works with FairTrade, a non-profit organization that supports family farmers. In 2005, it was the first ice cream producer in the world to use Fairtrade certified ingredients. The ice cream company is currently part of the Unilever team.
