Contraindications:
Do not take Gaviscon Menthol oral suspension:

This medicine contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218) and propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216) which may cause allergic reactions (even delayed).
Ingredients:
- Each 10 ml of oral suspension contains sodium alginate 500 mg, sodium hydrogen carbonate 267 mg and calcium carbonate 160 mg as active substances.
- The other components are carbomer 974 P, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218) and propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), sodium saccharin, sodium hydroxide, mint flavour no. 4 and mint flavour no. 5 and purified water. This medicine does not contain sugar or gluten.
Method of administration:
For oral administration.
Shake well before use.
Adults, including the elderly, and children aged 12 years and over: 10-20 ml after meals and at bedtime (maximum four times a day).
Children under 12 years of age: should only be administered on medical advice.
If you take too much of this medicine, it is unlikely to cause you harm. However, you may feel bloated. Consult your doctor if this symptom does not disappear.
If you forget to take Gaviscon Menthol oral suspension
If you have forgotten to take a dose, it is not necessary to take a double dose next time, but continue to take the usual dose at the appropriate time.
