Composition.
The active substance is magnesium orotate dihydrate. Each tablet contains 500 mg magnesium orotate dihydrate (equivalent to 2.7 mEq, 1.35 mmol or 32.8 mg magnesium). The other components are: anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, povidone K 30, lactose monohydrate, sodium cyclamate, talc, magnesium stearate.

Magnerot is a medicine that contains magnesium orotate as an active substance.
Magnerot is indicated in the prophylaxis of myocardial infarction and myocardial necrosis, in the treatment of angina pectoris, if these conditions are caused by magnesium deficiency, atherosclerosis, stenocardia, arteritis and arteriolitis, lipid metabolism disorders, muscle cramps.
Dosage and administration.

Dosage
For restoring magnesium stores
Unless otherwise prescribed, take 2 Magnerot tablets (1g magnesium orotate dihydrate) 3 times a day for one week. Subsequently, 2-3 Magnerot tablets (1-1.5g magnesium orotate dihydrate) should be administered daily.
Take Magnerot tablets whole, with a little liquid, before or with meals.
The duration of treatment should be at least 6 weeks, but Magnerot can also be administered for a longer period.
