About the producer
20 years ago, 2 brothers who spent their hot summers at their grandparents' in the countryside, in the commune of Fulga, Prahova county, discovered numerous fishing lakes in the village. That was the first time they made contact with the fishing rod, under the guidance of their grandfather. Years passed and the two had only one dream: to become the administrators of the Fulga ponds in order to restore their childhood glow.
Being ambitious by nature and noticing that more than 80% of the fish consumed in Romania is imported, they decided to set up a processing factory right next to the ponds in order to supply Romanians with fresh fish, grown naturally, but especially with Romanian fish.
We want to bring fresh Romanian fish, but also processed, of superior quality and carefully selected from our own ponds, on the shelves of major retailers in Romania. Thus, the foundations of a family business were laid, consolidating a 100% Romanian brand under the name Delta dintre Sate, a brand of SC Piscicola Prahova SRL.
