Kitchin Long Grain Rice 4x100g

Long grain rice in individual cooking bags: a convenient and easy way to cook perfect rice every time. The bags are pre-measured, so there is no need to worry about adding too much or too little water. The bags also have a built-in filter that traps starch and prevents the rice from becoming sticky.

To cook long grain boil-in-bag rice, simply bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the unopened bag of rice to the boiling water and reduce the heat to low. Cover the pot and simmer for 10–12 minutes or until the rice is cooked. Remove the pot from the heat and let it stand, covered, for 5 minutes before serving.

Instructions for use

Use a large pot of water so that the bag has enough space.
Do not overcrowd the pot. If cooking multiple bags of rice, use a separate pot for each bag.
Do not stir the rice while it is cooking. This can release starch and make the rice sticky.
Be careful when opening the bag of rice, as the steam can be hot.

1. Rinse the bag of rice and place it into salted water (1 bag / 1 liter of water).
2. Cook, covered, over low heat for 14–17 minutes, until the rice is tender.
3. Remove the bag and let the excess water drain. Then tear or cut open the bag from the top and serve the rice.
