Honeydew honey is a powerful antibacterial and an extraordinary immunostimulant. It contains 20 times more vitamins and minerals than honey collected from flowers, and these are much more easily assimilated by the body than those from floral honey. Honeydew honey is a type of honey with multiple benefits for our health. Honey is produced by bees from the sap of plants, but not directly, but after it has been ingested and excreted by insects (aphids) that absorb this sap to extract proteins from it. The excreted drops remain on the leaves, on the bark of the trees, on the branches, and are found by bees, collected and transformed into honey.
