Description
It stands out with its scent of daffodils, acacia flowers and wildflowers, but also with olfactory nuances of lemon and grapefruit. After a while, the aroma in the glass evolves towards shades of elderflower and mint. The taste is balanced, elegant and complements the smell. The aftertaste has a long intensity. On the complex path that begins with the care of the vine, to the grapes suitable for harvesting and of course then to the wine, at the Licorna Winehouse domain nothing is left to chance.
Although these steps seem to be controllable, the transformation process is a magical one. The multitude of factors that influence the winemaking process seem difficult to master. However, with great care, professionalism, and with time on our side, we build the WINE that contains the sun's rays, the raindrops and the warmth of the earth.
The unicorn, as a mythological animal, possesses miraculous powers: it heals diseases, cleanses evil and gives life. If the Unicorn has never been seen, the wine that bears its name can be discovered here and, coincidentally or not, has the same qualities. In addition, it does not have to be hunted with groups of skilled archers, it is enough just to be tasted to leave its mark on the memory of the wine lover.

Culinary pairings
Chicken with spices, fish with sautéed vegetables, simple, unfermented cheeses.
About the producer
The winery, as it can be admired today, was opened in 2013, but the place was enriched with a story many years before Licorna was an inspiration for the name.
The locals say that more than 100 years ago, the couple Nicolae and Elena Nicolau decided to build a winery on this site. Nicolae Nicolau had dreamed of the ruler Constantin Brancoveanu who asked him to build a winery where he could make a black wine like the rooster in his yard.
As for the black wine requested by the ruler, it is still made today, and the winery has not come out of the fairy tale and bears the name of Licorna Winehouse.
