A family-owned company with tradition and esteem, "ambassador" for Bamberger beer.
Kaiserdom is one of the most important German export brands present in over 60 countries worldwide. ''KAISERDOM", translated, means ''Emperor's Cathedral''. Bamberg landmark, was built by Emperor Henry II. Inside is the famous statue "Bamberger Reiter", whose head decorates the logo of the company and the Kaiserdom brewery.

• 1718 founding of the brewery in the fief of the Benedictine Monastery of St. Michaelsberg.
• Around 1900 the brewery was owned by Anton Müller, who sold it to his son-in-law Georg Wörner in 1910.
• 1969 Completion of the new brewery building on the Green Field site.
• In 1986 Georg Wörner's nephew joined the company and took over the brewery with his family.
• In 1998 the new business area "Technology and Engineering" was opened and partnerships with numerous German breweries began.
• 2016 - 2019 Investments in technology, quality and sustainability, as well as training.

Almost all Kaiserdom beers are made from barley malt.  The process of alcoholic fermentation was only known from the middle of the 16th century. Yeast is not initially mentioned in the law, because the mode of action of yeast cultures was not known in 1516 and it was believed to be a by-product of the brewing process.
