Kidonakis Extra virgin olive oil P.D.O Messara

An oil with over 25 international awards won in recent years.

The extra virgin olive oil Oleum Crete PDO Messara comes from the Messara valley, in southern Crete, and is an oil with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).

It has a fine aroma and an acidity of less than 0.5% oleic acid per 100 g of product, and is obtained by cold pressing, respecting the highest standards of quality and food safety.

Strong fruity taste, golden green color. A few tips:

• Olive oil loses its aromas and properties if placed in direct sunlight or in strong light;
• If you have bought a box with a large quantity of oil and want to transfer it to smaller bottles, choose dark glass containers;
• Olive oil feels best at around 18°C, but it also resists well at higher temperatures, so it can be kept in the kitchen, in a cupboard, away from the stove or oven. Superior olive oil obtained directly from olives only by mechanical means.
• Olive oil with protected designation of origin - P.D.O. Messara - and with a maximum acidity of 0.5%.
