Description
DUVEL - Blond beer 8.5% alc. - 0.33l / special beer Belgium. The secret of Duvel's subtle bitter taste lies in the hops and yeasts used during the brewing process. The yeast is cultivated from the same source that Albert Moortgat brought with him from Scotland in 1918. Duvel owes its sophisticated taste to the unique process of conditioning the beer in bottles that takes place over a period of 90 days: the beer is kept for 2 weeks in the "warm cellars" where a second fermentation takes place, after which it is kept for another 6 weeks in the "cold cellars". Only when the final taste is reached, the beer is ready to be shipped and appreciated all over the world.
