The Siviero Maria story began in 1958, when Guglielmo Visani created a Gelato, that authentic Italian ice cream, made by hand, which he named in honor of his wife, Maria.
Born in Romagna, he wanted the old recipes and methods of preparing traditional Italian ice cream to be preserved and passed on.
And he succeeded!
Even today, after more than half a century, the boxes of Siviero Maria gelato are filled by hand.
That's why the gelato retains its creamy consistency and no two gelatos are alike, because even the decoration is done by the hands of master gelato makers.
Indeed, the modern era has brought many improvements, but Siviero Maria carries on the tradition.
