Usage
Clean the child's genitourinary area with soap and water. Do not pat the cleaned area to speed up drying; do not apply creams, oils, or pediatric powders. Firmly attach the pediatric urine collection bag to the genitourinary area, as follows: peel off the protective strip from the lower half of the bag and secure the adhesive portion to the perineum; when the lower half of the bag is secured, peel off the upper part of the strip and continue applying the adhesive portion, ensuring that the urinary opening is included in the bag. Immediately after the child urinates into the collection bag, detach it and transport it to the laboratory under appropriate conditions. Prevent contamination of the urine sample when transferring it to the plastic container; be careful not to touch the container. Refrigerate the sample immediately after collection and send it to the laboratory on the same day.
