La Stejari Vin rosu sec Merlot

Wine with a distinctive deep purple-red color, which opens olfactively with structured aromas of ripe black fruits, such as blackberries, blueberries and black cherries. In the background, there are hints of vanilla brought by the French barrique wood and those of sweet spices: cloves, cinnamon and cardamom. Taste-wise, we find the same layers of black fruits, vanilla and sweet spices, together with good acidity, a well-defined body of tannins that are quite present, but velvety and well-integrated alcohol. A wine with a long aftertaste, suitable for aging for at least 5-7 years.

Less than 30 km from Timisoara, you can discover the vineyards of Cramele Recas on the hills of Recas.
Vine has been cultivated in these parts since the 2nd century, the first documentary attestation being from 1447, which makes this place full of history and wine tradition.

VARIETIES AND WINES

Currently, Cramele Recas cultivates 950 ha of vines, combining varieties such as Reisling Italian, Feteasca Regala, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Muscat Ottonel, Traminer, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Feteasca Neagra, Syrah but also local varieties such as Cadarca and Mustoasa.

In dry, ventilated rooms, with a relative humidity of max. 85%, at a temperature between +5°C...+20°C.
