Leffe Blond surprises with an amazing palette of aromas, from vanilla and honey to sweet nuances of pastry.
A refined taste that reveals a perfect balance between the sweetness of the malt and the subtle bitterness of the hops. An authentic abbey beer. (6.6% alc.)
About the producer
The Abbey of Leffe was founded in 1152 on the Meuse River in the province of Namur in southern Belgium. Like many monasteries in Europe, the Premonstratensian (Norbertine) canons of the abbey have been brewing beer since 1240. Using knowledge passed down from generation to generation and ingredients found in the wild near the abbey, the canons developed a unique ale, with a subtle taste and a high alcohol content, brewed only at the abbey.
Leffe Abbey was the first monastery to be licensed to produce beer outside the monastery, in 1950. The five Leffe beers are well known and consumed throughout Europe, North America and Japan.
