Taylor’s Fine Ruby is a blend of rich port wines, matured for two years in large oak barrels, in Taylor’s cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. As time passes, they acquire elegance, but at the same time retain their fruity character, intensity, and ruby color. They are then blended to achieve the perfect blend. With strong tannins and pronounced fruitiness, it pairs perfectly with the Port wine-cheese combination. Rich, fragrant nose, with aromas of ripe fruit and notes of honey and oak. Velvety taste and a long aromatic finish. It is particularly appreciated with blue cheese, but also pairs well with forest fruits and dark chocolate. Like all Port wines, it is excellent as a digestif, served after a meal. Alcohol consumption is forbidden for persons under 18 years of age.
