ADVIL ULTRA 200MG X 10 SOFT CAPSULES

Composition. The active substance is ibuprofen. Each capsule contains 200 mg of ibuprofen. The other excipients are: Capsule contents: macrogol 600, potassium hydroxide 50%. Capsule: gelatin, purified water, partially dehydrated liquid sorbitol (E 420), quinoline yellow (E 104), patent blue V (E 131). Printing materials: titanium dioxide (E 171), SDA 35 A alcohol, propylene glycol, polyvinyl acetate phthalate, purified water, isopropyl alcohol, macrogol 400, 28% ammonium hydroxide.

Therapeutic indications. Advil Ultra belongs to the group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (known as NSAIDs) and are used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation and fever. Due to the form of soft capsules, the active substance is absorbed by the body 1.25-2.5 times faster than in the case of tablets. For the relief of mild and moderate pain, osteoarticular and muscle pain (including tendonitis, bursitis, dislocations, sprains), back pain, headache, migraine (treatment and prophylaxis), dental pain, dysmenorrhea, fever and for the relief of symptoms of colds and flu.

Dosage and method of administration. Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years of age: one soft capsule every 4-6 hours, as needed. Do not take more than 6 soft capsules (1200 mg) in 24 hours.

The soft capsules will be swallowed whole, with water, before or after meals.

Do not administer to children under 12 years of age.

If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions. Before using Advil Ultra, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not use together with other pain relievers such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. If you are taking other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ask your doctor before using Advil Ultra.

Stop using and talk to your doctor if you notice a severe allergic reaction, including skin redness, hives, or blisters. May precipitate bronchospasm in patients with bronchial asthma or those with a history of bronchial asthma or allergic conditions.

May cause stomach bleeding. If blood is seen in vomit, stool, or you have very dark stools, stop taking Advil Ultra and see a doctor.

The lowest effective dose should be used to control symptoms.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Use with caution in the elderly. In patients with cirrhosis of the liver, other liver or kidney dysfunction or heart disease, consult a doctor before taking Advil Ultra.

Consult your doctor before using Advil Ultra if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Medicines like Advil Ultra may be associated with a slightly increased risk of heart attack ("myocardial infarction") or stroke. Any type of risk is more likely with high doses and long-term treatment. Do not exceed the recommended dose and duration of 3 days for treatment. If you have heart problems, a history of stroke, or think you might be at risk for these conditions (for example, if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, or are a smoker) you should discuss treatment with your doctor or pharmacist.

If visual disturbances occur, ibuprofen should be discontinued and an ophthalmological examination is recommended.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Pregnancy

The medicine is not recommended during pregnancy, especially in the first 3 months. It is contraindicated during the last 3 months of pregnancy.

Breastfeeding

Talk to your doctor before using Advil Ultra while breastfeeding. If you are breastfeeding, you should not use Advil Ultra.

Driving and using machines

Due to the adverse reactions it can produce on the central nervous system (eg visual disturbances, dizziness, headache), ibuprofen may affect the ability to drive or operate machinery.

Advil Ultra contains sorbitol.

If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, please talk to your doctor before taking/using this medicine.
